TERMS & CONDITIONS
MASTERCARD FC URBAN END TOURNAMENT
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
By participating in the promotion, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and are bound by them. Please retain a copy for your information. Please note nothing in these Terms restricts the participant’s statutory rights as a consumer and if required advice can be obtained for further information relating to these statutory rights.
Promoter: FC Urban B.V., Amstel 95, 1018 EL Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Partner: Mastercard Europe SA.
Eligibility
1. This promotion is open to active FC Urban Munich members aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and Mastercard, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. The promotion will run from 22.03.2025 with the first hosted game until 20.05.2025, when the winners will be announced. All active players during this period will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
3. To be eligible for the prize draw, participants must have played FC Urban games in Munich during the promotional period. Selection will be via raffle; the more games you play, the higher your chances.
4. A total of 28 participants will be selected to take part in the end tournament on 29.05.2025. Four teams of 7 players (5 players and 2 substitutes) will be formed.
5. By submitting an entry to the prize draw, you understand and agree that you are providing information to the Promoter. This information will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Notice available here: https://www.fcurban.com/privacy-policy
6. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the website or app. The Promoter does not therefore guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access.
7. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected registrations will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
Prize and Fulfilment
1. The raffle-based selection will take place shortly after the competition closes on 20.05.2025. The winners will be notified by email via the details provided, within 1 working day. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email during this time.
2. The winner will have 2 days from first being contacted to confirm participation in the end tournament and eligibility. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited and the Promoter will award the spot to a reserve winner.
3. The 28 selected winners will participate in the end tournament on 29.05.2025 in Munich.
4. All 28 winners will also receive exclusive tickets to the UEFA Champions League Legend Match at SAP Garden on 30.05.2025, courtesy of Mastercard.
5. Tickets will be distributed digitally. Internet access and a smartphone are required. No purchase necessary.
6. All other costs and expenses, including travel and accommodation, are the responsibility of the participant. The prize is as stated and nothing else is included.
7. There is no cash or alternative prize except in the event of circumstances outside the Promoter’s control, where the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a prize of equal or greater value.
8. The prize is date-specific and cannot be transferred or postponed. Entrants should ensure they are available on 29 and 30 May 2025. If not, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
9. If fulfilment or any element is delayed or affected due to restrictions or external factors, all affected entrants will be contacted and kept updated of any changes.
10. Failure to comply with these terms may result in forfeiture. The decision of the Promoter is final.
11. By participating in this tournament, players agree that photos, video recordings, and other content created during the event may be used by FC Urban and Mastercard for promotional and commercial purposes. Participants grant the Promoter and its partners full rights to use such media without additional consent or compensation.
Other Important Information
1. If the UEFA Legend Match is cancelled for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, there will be no rescheduling or replacement.
2. The Promoter and Mastercard shall only be liable for damages in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of promotion.
3. By accepting the prize, winners agree to comply with any UEFA or venue regulations. Entry may be refused in case of misconduct.
4. Participants take part at their own risk. Promoter and Mastercard are not liable for issues once the prize is fulfilled.
5. Personal data collected will be shared only with necessary third parties for fulfilment. Affected data will include names, email addresses, and phone numbers. All processing will be in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Winners and guests must have a functional smartphone and be able to download digital tickets.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any participant for misconduct or anti-social behaviour.
8. Flash photography may be used during the event.
General
1. The Promoter will make available the winners’ surnames and country of residence upon request.
Objections to disclosure should be made via info@fcurban.com.
2. Participants are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate. The Promoter is not liable for errors affecting fulfilment.
3. Sale or exchange of the prize is strictly prohibited unless agreed by the Promoter in writing.
4. The Promoter is not responsible for winners being unable to take up the prize for any reason.
5. The Promoter is not liable for network or internet issues affecting entry or communication.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and require proof of identity. Fraudulent entries will be disqualified.
7. If the promotion cannot run as planned due to unforeseen issues, the Promoter may suspend, modify, or cancel it.
8. If any clause is found illegal or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain in full force.
9. These Terms and Conditions are governed by German law, with disputes subject to the German courts.
10. By entering, you agree to the use of your data solely for administering this promotion. You may contact support@fcurban.com for access or deletion requests.
Data protection
The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data in the context of the campaign is: FC Urban B.V., Amstel 95, 1018 EL Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
When you participate in the campaign, we process the data and information you provide when you register for the campaign. This includes:
- Name and surname,
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
- Telephone number (optional)
If the prize is accepted, the guest's personal data (e.g. first name, surname and date of birth) will also be processed.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), the fulfilment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), or the legitimate interest of the project sponsor (Art. 6 para. 1, sentence 1 lit. f GDPR).
The personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of participation verification, competition processing, winner notification and fulfilment, and will be deleted after the campaign.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests can be submitted to support@fcurban.com.
Personal data will be stored within the EU and will not be shared with third parties except necessary service providers including Mastercard, Octagon Inc., and UEFA, solely for prize fulfilment.
By registering during the campaign period, you consent to the data use described here. You may revoke consent at any time via support@fcurban.com, which will result in withdrawal from the campaign.
