Making Credits Simpler
TL;DR: Starting 5th of January 2026, we're simplifying how credits work. Credits will refresh every four weeks and won't roll over. Plus, we're introducing full transaction history so you always know where your credits are going.
Why We're Making Changes
Over the past months, we've heard from many of you that our credit system can be confusing. Questions like "Where did my credits go?" and "Why can't I use my credits after cancelling?" have been common.We’ve listened. And we're making changes to create a simpler, clearer system that works like the subscriptions you already know and use.
See Your Complete Credit Story
We've just launched a powerful new feature that gives you complete transparency into your credits:

Your Credit Dashboard
On your "My Games" page, you'll now see:
- Current balance: Clear display of credits available (e.g., 40/70)
- Plan indicator: Your membership level (Smart, Lite, etc.)
- Renewal countdown: Exactly when your credits refresh ("Credits renew in 11 days")
- Visual progress bar: See your credit usage at a glance
Complete Transaction History
Tap "View My History" to see every credit transaction:
Green icons (➕): Credits added
- Four week subscription credits (+70 for Smart plan)
- Bonus credits earned
- Credit packages purchased
Grey icons (➖): Credits used
- Each game booked with venue name and time
- Exact date of transaction
- Credit amount used
Check it now: Open FC Urban app → "My Games" → "View My History"
What's Changing (and When)
January 2025: Simpler Credit System
Now that you can see your complete credit history, we're making the system itself simpler. We're moving to a four week credit system that works like most subscriptions you use:
How it works:
- Every four weeks, you receive your plan's credits
- Use them throughout those four weeks to book games
- At the end of your billing cycle, unused subscription credits expire
- Next cycle, you get a fresh batch of credits
Think of it like:
- Your gym membership (monthly access that resets)
- Streaming services (you get the service each month)
- Mobile phone contracts (minutes/data that refresh monthly)
Example from your transaction history: Looking at your credit history, you'll see entries like "Smart subscription credits +70" appearing every 4 weeks. Starting January, any unused credits from that batch will expire at billing cycle end, and you'll receive a fresh 70 credits at the start of your next billing cycle.
January 2025: Price Adjustment
To maintain the quality of pitches, facilities, and service you expect, we're adjusting our membership prices by. This reflects increased costs for venue rentals, pitch maintenance, equipment, and operations.
What This Means for You
The Benefits:
- Simpler to understand: No more confusion about rollover limits or credit caps
- Better planning: Know exactly what you have
- Complete transparency: See every credit transaction in your history
- Predictable: Same credits every four weeks, just like any subscription
What You Need to Know:
- Use it or lose it: Plan your games to maximise your credits
- Start of January: Your first reset happens on your January billing date
- Purchased credits: Do not expire
- Free bonus games: Still available to all members.
